With activities for young people and adults alike, we are passionate about helping our community to thrive. Perfect for both you and your children to get involved. 

About the Programme

Featuring five fantastic, inclusive, engaging courses designed to develop not only skills, but boost confidence and encourage team-building. Suitable for everyone and anyone. Please join us to celebrate creativity in Guildford! 


Introduction to Comedy (6-week course)

Monday 10 January - Monday 14 Feburary 2022, from 7pm - 9pm

Ever wondered what makes a stand-up comedian so funny? Or why people falling over never ceases to make us giggle? If you want to master all the tricks and techniques of the funny business, then this brand new Introduction to Comedy course is for you! Lead by specialist comedy practitioner Victoria Hogg, participants will get the chance to delve into various comedic approaches in a fun and inclusive environment, and share what they’ve learnt with an invited audience at the end of the course.

Introduction to Playwriting (10-week course)

Thursday 20 January - Thursday 24 March 2022, 6.30 - 8.30pm

Come and learn the basics of playwriting in this 10-week course. Following the classical three act arc, you will learn the basics of plotting, structure, character and scene development, editing, and more. You will also be supported in the development of an original 10-minute script, which will be shared in a public rehearsed reading at the end of the course. The course is led by Fiona Moon, who has a Masters in Writing for Stage and Broadcast Media from Royal Central School of Speech and Drama.

Encore Drama Classes - Spring Term - Seniors (Ages 12-17)

Saturday 22 January - Saturday 2 April 2022, 11.30am -1pm

Encore is an inclusive drama class for young people with SEN . We have an emphasis on teamwork, confidence and self-esteem building through both scripted and unscripted work, we welcome budding performers to take to the stage however they feel comfortable. With optional termly show backs to family and friends, and led by a specialist SEN practitioner, we pride ourselves on the highest creative tuition and fantastic pastoral care.

Encore Drama Classes - Spring Term - Juniors (Ages 7-11)

Saturday 22 January - Saturday 2 April 2022, 10am -11.15am

Encore is an inclusive drama class for children with SEN . We have an emphasis on teamwork, confidence and self-esteem building through both scripted and unscripted work, we welcome budding performers to take to the stage however they feel comfortable. With optional termly show backs to family and friends, and led by a specialist SEN practitioner, we pride ourselves on the highest creative tuition and fantastic pastoral care.

Radical Creatives

Wednesday 19 January - Wednesday 6 April 2022, 6pm - 8pm

A brand-new weekly group for 14-19 year olds who believe in the power of the arts to change the world! Whether you’re an animator, a poet, an actor, a musician, a graffiti artist (or aspiring to be so): if you want to harness your creativity with like-minded people, to tackle some of the biggest issues that matter to you, then we need your ideas, your passion and your radical creativity. Coming together each week, our collective of young artists will collaborate, create and be inspired to make a difference.
