Creative LearningBe Challenged, Be Creative, Be Curious

Our Core Values

  1. To promote physical, emotional and mental wellbeing and creativity to members of our community
  2. To adopt an ‘Arts for All’ approach
  3. To encourage collaborative partnerships and support new and emerging artists

G Live Creative Learning Department is part of HQ Theatres Trust; a charitable organisation focusing on outreach, youth and community work in the local area (Charity Registration Number: 1145989).

As a venue, we provide a variety of arts outreach projects – from weekly classes for both adults and young people, to holiday clubs, to our annual summer youth projects – that reach over 12,000 local people across the year. We also work closely with local schools and other community groups, including our Charity and School of the Year. In May 2022, we will also be launching a brand new, month long community festival focussed on arts and mental health / wellbeing.

At G Live, we believe that everybody who wishes to has a right to access and experience culture, and are passionate about improving arts provision for a wide demographic of people, including vulnerable, disengaged and SEN groups. We want to build a future where everybody feels welcome and able to live a creative life and meet their artistic potential, whatever their experience or interest. So whether it’s dance, comedy or technical theatre, we’re bound to have something for you.

We offer free personal assistant places for those with additional requirements, and a limited number of funded places on all of our courses. Please get in touch with Fiona Moon, Creative Learning Manager, to discuss options.
